Pebble Beach with My Family

Sitting down to write this blog post a full two weeks after my parents left to head back to South Carolina, and I miss them so much! I'm so thankful for the time we had together though, and all the memories we were able to make. I loved showing them around my neighborhood and where I've been living the past year. It was really fun to see them adapt to San Francisco living!

My mom always talks about how San Francisco was the first place she ever took me as a baby, and how it must have been destiny for me to end up living here. It is pretty cool to think about!

Our Itinerary

The first few days I had to work from home, they went out and explored Marina on their own. They walked to the Marina Green, The Palace of Fine Arts, the Golden Gate Bridge, Crissy Field, and biked to the Presidio.

Friday night we walked up to Pacific Heights to get ice cream from Salt and Straw and to look at all the houses. On our way back down we walked the Lyon Street Steps. Dad even got to pet a Newfoundland on our way past the dog park!!

We spent a good bit of time out on Jesse and I's patio since it's been such nice weather recently. I even took them up to see our rooftop deck view!

Saturday was full of excitement as we picked up our rental car and drove down the scenic route to Pebble Beach. This place holds a special place in our hearts since it was one of the first trips we all took together as a family back when Liv and I were practically babies! My parents have home videos of us playing on the Pebble Beach green that I love watching.

We drove the 17 mile drive and stopped at some of the stops along the way to see the view. The senior PGA tour was actually going on at the golf course the same time we were there so we stood outside the visitor center to try and catch a peek! Dad had numerous photo ops along the way!

On our last full day together we walked around Marina by the water and took some photos. Mom and I even did a Target run before we had to return the Audi!

I'm so glad we had this time together - I'm already counting down the days till we see each other again! Until next time...
