Our Saturday in San Francisco Routine

Since we’ve been in our Marina apartment a little over a month now, Jesse and I have developed our own little routine.

This always involves sleeping in, of course! And a walk or short bus ride to brunch. We have grown fond of both Jane on Fillmore, and Cafe Reveille. But, this past weekend we tried somewhere new, and a bit closer. It took us a short 5 minute walk to get to Le Marais Bakery. I was surprised by the cozy, eclectic feel of this place, and the food was impeccable.

With brunch to-go in our hand, we strolled back to the apartment. We like

to use our more “lazy” Saturday’s to clean and do the loads of laundry we seem to accumulate throughout the week. Although these are two menial tasks, they’re still tasks I look forward to. It’s an aspect of our lives that feels normal, and brings me back to when we were a little closer to home.

Of course, there are more exciting Saturday’s that don’t just include grocery shopping, and movie nights. Our plan for this Saturday is to ride our bikes along the Golden Gate Bridge - so stay tuned for some photo overloads!

With each week that goes by here in SF, we are able to explore and learn more about this beautiful city, and one another.
